Study choice
HBO-ICT fits me because it is practice-driven and team-based. I want weekly deliverables, clear definitions of done, code reviews, and the chance to take ownership of a slice of a product. I like that the programme rewards consistency over theatrics: plan, build, test, reflect. I am also looking for a motivated peer group that pushes standards up-people who care about clean interfaces, version control discipline, and small, reviewable pull requests.
After graduating I want to be a reliable engineer who can own a service end-to-end. Within 3-5 years I see myself leading a small team, mentoring juniors, and balancing speed with quality on a product with real users. Long term I want to move from only engineering to some creative or managing roles.
